While we love the perfect Thai beaches, after Chiang Mai, we headed to Siem Reap, Cambodia instead.  The ruins are a once in a lifetime experience and the people are some of the friendliest we've encountered yet.  

Chiang Mai, in Northern Thailand, is a great destination for culture, delicious food and adventure.

The vibrant culture of Bangkok is visible around every corner.  From soaring temples to the best street food in the world this is a city I can't wait to visit again.

I scheduled my husband and I a 16 hour layover in Hong Kong so we could get out and see the sights.  What a day!

Sometimes all you need is a weekend, the perfect hotel and no agenda.

Nicaragua was one of my first big trips.  I loved the city of Managua, the history and local foods.  Hopping on a small plane and then a panga (boat!) to get to Little Corn Island was one of the most exciting experiences.  The island life was a perfect contrast to the city for a week of exploring, SCUBA and relaxation.

Nantucket is one of my favorite places to visit.  After having been away for several years, I had a great vacation there the last weekend of the season.
